Tuesday September 27th is "Wheel of Fortune"

While there are essentially only four primary tastes (sweet, salty, sour, and bitter), there are 32 primary aromas commonly found in single malts.  These are grouped into eight segments (the first six resulting from production and the last two from maturation): Cereal, Fruity, Floral, Peaty, Feinty, Sulphury, Woody, and Winey.

Our 8th tasting hosted by Linda at the home of the BSSMS on Tuesday September 27th will feature six whiskies each reflecting one of the major aroma categories from the Pentlands Wheel commonly referred to as the whisky wheel.  Make sure you reserve your spot for a tasting we're calling "The Wheel of Fortune."  It's going to be an educational and fun evening with whisky and good friends.
