12th Tasting - An Evening with Bruichladdich; An Evening to Remember!

Our 12th tasting focused on single malts from a single distillery - Bruichladdich.  As one of the leading innovators in the single malt world, Bruichladdich and Master Distiller Jim McEwan have taken single malts to new heights.  Breaking with many people's preconceptions about all Islay whisky being peated, Bruichladdich is offering a range of unpeated whiskies, in addition to their peated expressions.  Continuing their explorations in creating uniquely different expressions, they continue to push the envelope with different types of casks, barley (going with a range of locally grown organic barley), and with peat levels.

If you haven't tried Bruchladdich, you don't know what you are missing.  Read our tasting notes and your next single malt purchase will most assuredly be a "Laddie"!   Well, maybe not the Octomore Orpheus 2.2 since it's becoming extremely hard to find, but whatever you buy, it'll be a damn good dram.
